How it works
Get to know how we work, how to send your stems, how to pay and more.
1. Prepare Your Stems
Export all channels individually as 24bit/32bit, 48khz/96khz AIFF or WAV. This provides the highest quality and ensures compatibility with spatial audio mixing. For stereo projects, 24bit 48khz is fine.
Upload the stems to a cloud hosting service such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
Please ensure stems are appropriately named!
2. Get in Touch
Fill out our contact form here or simply book a call with us here we’ll be in touch within 24 working hours to discuss the details of your project, your thoughts and project goals, details of delivery and whether any additional discretion needs to be signed for.
We prefer to to arrange a phone/Zoom call to discuss your project, so you can meet the person working on your project and we can talk about how you’d like the finished product to sound and set out expectations.
As a quick guide, let us know when you’d be available if you haven’t already booked, roughly how many songs you’re working on, the genre/vibe of the project and a few reference tracks with a sentence or two about what you like about the mix.

7. How Did We Do?
Email your stems to andy@immersion-audio.co.uk with the link to whichever hosting service you chose and we will send over a Master Services Agreement as well as a Statement of Work for you to review and sign.
This provides safety for both parties and details how and when payments are due, the details of revisions, how they have been agreed to be paid, the scope of the work being completed, turnaround time etc, so you have peace of mind your project is in good hands.
We use Stripe as our payment processor and can accept most major payment methods including but not limited to: Visa/Mastercard, Apple/Google Pay, Klarna and more. Full list can be found on our FAQ page. For larger projects we may offer part payments, this will be discussed and agreed on our initial call.
Please be aware that payment processors have their own terms of use.
Depending on the size of your project, we will check in 2-5 times for feedback and revisions to ensure quality satisfaction. The number of revisions will be detailed in the agreement signed and any extra revisions will be priced from £50+. For larger projects we will offer a sit-in session with the engineer as well as other online revisions.
Once completed we will deliver the files to your chosen email address via a Google Drive link. This link will be active for 90 days and you will be notified by email and text/call. After these 90 days we will hold onto your files for up to 6 months so if you lose them, there will be a £20 admin charge to get them back again.
We’d love to hear your feedback on the final project, how you felt the process went and your (honest) thoughts on your engineer! This goes a long way to help us improve for future work and any feedback provided within 90 days of delivery will receive a discount on future work as a thanks!
