FAQ
-
What services do you offer?
We provide mixing and mastering services in Dolby Atmos / Spatial Audio, surround sound, stereo (and mono) mixing, plus additional audio services such as composition, sound design, Foley, and specialist / studio recordings.
-
Who are your services for?
We serve musicians, composers, film / TV / media producers, game audio designers, and anyone needing immersive or traditional mixes. Whether you have stems or rough mixes, we can work with you.
-
What is your usual turnaround time?
That depends on the project’s complexity, number of tracks / stems, revisions, and format (stereo vs Atmos). Typically for a standard stereo mix it might be 2 - 3 weeks, for Dolby Atmos or spatial audio mixes from 3 - 4 weeks. For masters please allow 1 - 2 weeks. Other projects will have the turnaround time specified and agreed upon on a per project basis.
-
Do I get copyright/ownership of the mixes/masters?
Yes — once final delivery and payment are complete, you retain full rights to the mixes. We do not claim ownership unless otherwise specified in a contract. (For example: we might ask for a “mix credit” when the music is distributed.)
-
How should stems be prepared?
Preferably WAV or AIFF format, uncompressed, with 24 or 32-bit depth, sample rate of 48 kHz, or 96 kHz. For stereo, 24bit & 48khz is fine. Please ensure the stems are named appropriately (e.g. “LeadVox_01.wav,” “Guitar_Rhythm.wav,” “Drums_Kick.wav”) and if sending multiple songs, folders are named appropriately as well.
-
How are files shared between us?
We are generally flexible with how we receive files as long as it is simple and doesn’t require permissions etc. We use Google Drive to share our work however we are happy to send/receive files via Dropbox, WeTransfer and other services where needed.
-
How are final products delivered?
You’ll receive high-quality premasters/masters in WAV / AIFF ready for your selected outlets. For Atmos and spatial audio projects, we’ll provide ADM BWF files, stems, stereo downmix, and any other required stems or bounce formats (e.g. 24-bit/96 kHz, Apple Spatial Audio etc).
We aim to deliver our projects within the guidelines for chosen streaming and purchase platforms, so please let us know where your projects are being delivered from.
-
Can you provide alternate versions?
Yes - From all projects you will receive a finished master, stems and dowmixes where applicable. If you need extra versions, for example, instrumentals, radio edits, vocal-only etc this will be discussed in the initial call, outlined in our work agreement and delivered alongside the other files.
-
Do I pay upfront or in instalments?
This will be agreed upon in our initial call, however, projects up to £1,000 will be expected to be paid upfront and an agreement can be made for projects larger than that. Please raise this if you would like to discuss instalment options for your project.
We also offer payments via Klarna for smaller projects should you rather pay in instalments for smaller projects.
-
NDA's & Confidentiality
We’re happy to sign NDAs or confidentiality agreements for projects that require it. These can either be a separate document or this can be added as a clause in the work agreement document.

What if I'm not happy at the end?
We strive for client satisfaction, and if at the end of our journey together you are not happy with your product, we will discuss what you are not happy with and try to find an outcome that suits us both. We include a “failure to agree” in our contracts that covers us both for such an occasion, so make sure this is discussed and agreed upon to your liking in our initial call.
